Dear Landon

Dear Landon,

I'm going to start writing you little notes (hopefully on a monthly basis) so I can one day share with you all the day-to-day "stuff" that happens when we're together! I'm sorry that I haven't done this before now, but you are a very high-needs baby who has kept me busy and exhausted! I'll try to go back and write some post-dated entries if I have time...

You are six months old. I cannot believe it! Where did October through April go? It seems like yesterday that I was complaining of my ever-growing belly, thinking I'd never see your adorable face! Where did that time go?

This week we've been struggling with sleeping at night. I'm not sure what's wrong with your little tummy, but something is making you uncomfortable. Maybe it's your teeth...you already have one and I think you're working on two more. I also think it could have something to do with the fact that you LOVE to eat (you're so much like Mommy) and you think the Milk Buffet is open all night long (and at this point it is). I'm afraid that's going to stop once we go to the doctor tomorrow. I have a feeling he's going to tell you that you aren't going to starve through the night. We'll see.

You've hit an exciting milestone in your development! You are sitting up now, and have been for about 2 weeks! It's really amazing that you're growing so fast! You are wearing all 9 month clothes, except for the occasional 6 month shorts or rompers I squeeze you into (only for pictures!). You are barely fitting into size 3 shoes but good thing its summer and we don't really have to worry about shoes too much.

Praise God you've turned into a pretty good napper. You usually sleep in the morning for anywhere from 1-2 hours and again after lunch for another hour or two. Sometimes you even take a late afternoon nap for about an hour. Those naps have really helped Mommy lately. She's been struggling with some post-partum issues on top of six months of sleep deprivation! We're getting there though...slowly but surely...we're getting there.

One thing is for sure, you are getting cuter and cuter every day and when I think I can't love you any more...I do. Landon, you are so precious to me and I look forward to each and every new day with you.

Hugs and Kisses,
Mommy

I'm working on Toby's 11 month post and saw this while I was waiting for a pic to load. Keep these letters up! They serve as great reminders!
